Obituary of Winston Dale Judd

WINSTON D. JUDD age 92 of Jefferson passed away peacefully at his home April 8, 2010. The son of Jessie and Ruth (Loomer), born on November 21, 1917 in Endeavor Wisconsin. He attended the University Wisconsin Eau Claire, and the University Wisconsin Stevens Point. He served as a Deputity Sherriff for Portage County. He was a Cattle Dealer, and a Farm Implement Dealer, and Insurance Salesman, and a Haveststore Silo salesman, and Owner of Sealstor Silo Co. Most recently he owned and operated Judd's Cores. He moved to Jefferson 43 years ago from the Portage area. Winston was a boxer, and pitched baseball in college. He was an avid baseball fan, and had a love of horses. He married June B. Newby in 1967. He is a member of the First United Methodist church in Fort Atkinson, and a former member of the Bancroft Baptist Church in Bancroft. He is survived by his wife June "Betty" Judd of Jefferson Three daughters; Susan (Dale) Sonnenburg of Oshkosh, Karen (Wilbur) Brown of Hancock, Linda (Bill) Larson of Fife Lake, MI Four sons; James (Jill) Judd of Plover, Gary (Barb) Schenck of Fort Atkinson Robert (Terri) Schenck of Madison, Mark (Heidi) Judd of Watertown. 18 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild Two sisters; Marge (Ed) Kiddie of Florida, Nancy (Curt) Wolle of Plover He is preceded in death by one step-son Larry Schenck, two brothers John Judd, Eldred Judd, and 3 siblings in infancy, sister-in-law; Jean Judd Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday April 14th, 2010 at the Bancroft Baptist Church, 8376 Klonkide Street, Bancroft WI 54921, with Pastor Jeffrey Silha officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Bancroft. Visitation will be at the Baptist church on Wednesday April 14th, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. There will also be a visitation on Tuesday April 13th, at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral home in Jefferson WI from 4:00-7:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. with the Rev.
