Obituary of Shirley May Hager

SHIRLEY M. HAGER age 85 of Brookfield passed away at the home of her daughter in Helenville. She was born April 26, 1924 in Milwaukee Wisconsin, daughter of the late Hugo and Gladys (Sweeney) Morse. She married Howard Hager in 1945; he preceded her in death April 26, 1982. Shirley enjoyed being a homemaker, a loving mother and grandmother, she was an extraordinary cook, and was well know for baking her special chocolate bundt cake for just about everyone and for almost any occasion. She was a Girl Scout Leader, and she volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House, the Brookfield Humane Society, and Food Pantry. She will be deeply missed by her daughters; Sue Jacobson of Wauwatosa, Sandra (Michael) Janke of Helenville Granddaughter; Elizabeth Jacobson, step-grandchildren; Shad (Tammy) Janke, Heather (Dustin) Harvey Funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday October 15, 2009 at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield, Visitation will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park in the Chapel of the Flowers from 4:00-6:00p.m. Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson is assisting the family with arrangements.
