Obituary of Leslie Walter Sharlow

LESLIE "PAT" W. SHARLOW age 87 of Jefferson passed away Saturday February 24, 2018 at the Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek. He was born on April 11, 1930 in Freemont, MI to Walter and Velma Sharlow. Pat served in the United States Air Force from 1948-1952. He married Thelma Jung on October 18, 1952. Pat was employed at Crepaco in Lake Mills for 38 years retiring in 1992. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed camping, fishing and boating and loved the outdoors. Pat was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Jefferson. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Thelma Sharlow. Children Linda (Dave) Starkey of Jefferson, Janet Nuehring of Jefferson, Jeff (Mary) Sharlow of Jefferson, Terri (Lyle) Jurczyk of Jefferson, daughter-in-law Theresa Sharlow of Stoughton. 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and brother Glen Sharlow of Michigan. He was loved by his family deeply and will be missed every day He is preceded in death by his parents, son Wayne Sharlow, granddaughter Rachel Jurczyk and his brothers and sisters. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday March 1, 2018 at St. John's Lutheran church in Jefferson with the Rev. Joshua Martin presiding.
