Obituary of Adeline Charlotte Lucas

ADELINE C. LUCAS age 92 of Jefferson passed away at the home of her grandson on October 6, 2007. She was born on August 21, 1915 in Fort Atkinson, daughter of the late Edmond and Leila (Bielefeldt) Helwig. She married Henry G. Lucas on May 24, 1934 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson. He preceded her in death on November 8, 1974. She and her husband operated the Lucas Woolen Mills in Jefferson for many years. She was also employed at the Fire Side in Fort Atkinson for over 40 years. A member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Jefferson. She is survived by one daughter Donna (Roy) Akin of Hartford And one son; Thomas (Ann) Lucas of Fort Atkinson 4 grandchildren; Robert Lucas, Barbara (Gerard) Roethle, Peter (Anne Marie) Lucas, Ann Marie (Scott) Finnessy. 5 great-grandchildren. One sister; Carolyn Ramaika of Spring Hill FL One sister-in-law; Jan Helwig of Fort Atkinson She is also preceded in death by one brother Dean, and one brother-in-law Pete Ramaika Memorial services were held Friday October 12 at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson with the Rev. Nancy Carmichael officiating, burial was held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Jefferson Rainbow Hospice in Adeline's memory.
