Obituary of Joan Genieve HAAS

JOAN G. HAAS age 73 of Jefferson passed away on October 4, 2007 at Countryside Nursing Home in Jefferson. She was born on May 16, 1934 in Jefferson, daughter of the late Harold and Josephine (Bauer) Zimmerman. She married Russell Haas on August 5th 1950 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson, he preceded her in death on April 2, 1994. She and her husband owned and operated J & R Cleaning in Jefferson for many years. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson, and the VFW Auxiliary. She is survived by 5 daughters; Barbara (Milton) Blumenberg of Hatfield WI Jaquiline (Dale) Naatz of Watertown WI Jennifer (Robert) Reel of Las Vegas NV Susan (Roger) Brunk of Johnson Creek WI Shirley (Todd) Bonack of Sanford NC 5 sons; Robert (Peggy) Haas of Jefferson Russell Haas Jr. of Jefferson James (Sharon) Haas of Fort Atkinson Matthew (Cindy) Haas of Waterloo Bryan Haas 28 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren She is also preceded in death by one brother, two sisters. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday October 9th at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas Coyle officiating, burial will be in the Parish Cemetery Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday evening at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson, and then again on Tuesday morning at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
