Obituary of Robert E. "Bob" Meyer

ROBERT EARL MEYER, age 79. The Lord called Bob home on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at his home in Jefferson.

He was born on October 1, 1943, in Chicago, IL to Earl and Lorraine (Prussell) Meyer. Bob graduated from Lake Mills High School in 1962 and worked in law enforcement as a police officer in Lake Mills, WI and in security at Aurora Health Center. He also drove truck making local deliveries in the area.

He married Kathleen Meyer on February 10, 1962, in Lake Mills and together they raised three children. Robert served in the United States Navy from 1962 to 1967

Bob enjoyed being outdoors, especially deer hunting, duck hunting and fishing.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Robert is survived by his wife, children Bryan Meyer of Kenosha, WI, Becky (Jeff) Menolascino of Merango, IL and Brent (Tina) Meyer of Kaiser, OR, and 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; brother John (Lois) Meyer of Phoenix AZ, and sister-in-law Kay Meyer of Watertown, WI. Nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.

He is preceded by his parents, brother Roger Meyer and great grandchild, Kadyn Meyer, sister-in-law Debbie Brown.
