Obituary of George M. Kremp

GEORGE M. KREMP

The St. Coletta family has lost another longtime member.  George Kremp passed away this afternoon just two months shy of his 85th birthday.  George was a man of great faith and truly couldn’t wait for it to be his turn to go to heaven.  George was a devoted Catholic and his spirituality was an essential part of his everyday life.  Coming to St. Coletta in 1946 as a 9-year-old boy George called St. Coletta home.  George’s caregivers and friends over the years were his families.  Often times you could find George very prideful in talking about the days when he lived independently in his own home requiring minimal assistance and oversight.  As the years went on and George’s abilities changed, he called both Luchenbach and Padua Heights home.

George spent a lifetime at St. Coletta making memories with all that were fortunate enough to know him! While we will miss his presence and contagious smile, we find great comfort knowing that he is finally at peace and free of all ailments.

Rest in peace George!  You will be missed.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on February 24, 2022, at the Chapel of the Flowers on the Alverno campus.  George will be laid to rest next to his parents in the New Oakhill cemetery in Plymouth, Indiana
