Ed will be truly missed by Archer and I. Ed taught me how to plant a woods on our farm and how to identify, care for, and harvest the woods to insure the new crop has the best chance to succeed. I also enjoyed our many lunches and his business advice when I left Raymond Krek and after being out on my own. I have many found memories of time spent together , his advice, humor and compassion. As you know, there are not enough trees to be planted in his memory. He will be among them for eternity. God Bless his family and his friends. Ben Brantmeier

Archer and I will miss the many activities we did with Ed over the years . He taught me how to plant my woods on our farm and how to identify trees and prim correctly. Heck , even how to harvest the woods to insure new growth and next crop of trees has the best chance at success. He was a good friend who gave me great business advice when leaving Raymond Krek and then out on my own . I will truly miss our long lunches and his company . He certainly left his mark in our hearts . Ben Brantmeier

What can I say-saw Ed last Friday and it was good a good talk we had, as usual. Walked a long road with Ed for over 25 years and every time Barb and I have an enjoyable evening at ‘The Landings’ or I drive by the farmstead I will remember with great happiness both the good and sometimes challenging times I had with Ed and the family. Now, just wondering if Mike is preparing Ed’s funeral pyre somewhere in the back 40 since I am sure that’s how Ed would have preferred for his final passage!
