Obituary of Margaret Mary Aldrich

MARGARET M. ALDRICH, age 97 of St. Francis, formerly of Jefferson passed away at Maple Ridge Health services in Milwaukee.  She was born on October 9, 1922 in Stevens Point to the late Walter and Regina (Zimbauer) Neighbauer.  She married Lyle Aldrich on February 22, 1946 in Stevens Point, he preceded her in death on March 4, 1999.  Together Margaret and Lyle raised 12 children, she was an avid reader and loved to garden.  She loved her family and took care of most all of her grandchildren while their parents worked.  To say she was a homemaker only touches a small part of everything she sacrificed for her family, she was an amazing mother and grandmother, great grandmother and great great-grandmother.  She enjoyed word search puzzles and was faithful in her prayer life.  She was a member of St. Charles Borromer and a former member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson.  She is survived by her family; Children Mary Jean (Gilbert) Schmidt of Oak Creek, Rosemary (Gordon) Hess of CO, Dolores (Gerald) Gross of St. Francis, Bernadine (Tom) Gillis of Pembine, Marcella Aldrich of Oak Creek, Marla (Paul) Franecki Waterford, Terri (Dave) Bentley New Berlin, Albert Aldrich of Houston, TX, Donald (Linda) Aldrich of Mukwonago, John (Judy) Courtion of Wausau, Mark Aldrich of Cincinnati, OH. 19 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lyle Aldrich, daughter Nancy Franecki, granddaughter Denise Rupcic, great grand sons, Michael and Ricky and great granddaughter Audrey, Brothers Bernard, Sam and Donald, and sister Marie.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday November 8, 2019 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson with the Rev. Thomas Coyle officiating, Burial will follow in the Parish cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
