Obituary of Gregory Carl Buelow

GREGORY C. BUELOW age 69 of Lake Land Florida, passed away at the Winter Haven hospital in Winter Haven Florida after suffering a stroke on August 28, 2018  He was born on December 15, 1948 to Elizabeth “Betty” (Goddard) and Donald  Buelow.  He graduated from Jefferson high school in 1967 and was a member of the Champion Golf team.  He served in the United States Navy from August 1969- March 1971.  He was aboard the USS Luce in the Mediterranean Sea when he fell 12 feet on July 4, 1970 and was transported to Corfu Greece for surgery.  Greg loved to follow the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers and the Pro Golf tournaments.

He is survived by his mother Betty Buelow of Jefferson, daughter Kourtney Buelow and granddaughter Kaitlyn Allen of Bartow, Florida.  Brother Gary (Margie) Buelow of Fond du Lac, Sister Gail (Peter) Nevins of Jefferson.   Nieces Jaimie Nevins of NC, Lindsay (Bryan Poredos) Nevins of Jefferson, nephews Jason (Kim) Buelow of NC, Aaron (Brandie Rae) Buelow of Chicago, Glen (Gina) Buelow of Fond du Lac and Kevin (Julie) Buelow of Fond du Lac.  Great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Donald Buelow, and grandparents, and Cousin Robert Gruennert.

Burial will be at the Rock River Cemetery with Military graveside services on October 7, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. David Zandt presiding.
