Obituary of Richard Carl Hart

RICHARD “RICH” C. HART, age 72 of Lake Mills passed away peacefully at his home with his wife by his side on Friday August 31, 2018 in Lake Mills.  He was born on March 14, 1946 in Beloit, Wisconsin, son of the late Chester and Helen (Keenbaum) Hart.  Richard married Mary Hardy on December 5, 1969.  He was employed at Zalk Joseph in Stoughton and MPI Manufacturing.

Richard and Mary enjoyed camping and he loved to go 4-Wheeling and tinkering on his cars, he loved spending time with his family and enjoyed taking care of his grandsons when they were little.

He is survived by his family, wife Mary Hart of Lake Mills, daughters Dawn (Perry) Schaller of Waterloo, Kelly (Dan Scoville) Karr of Lake Mills.  Two grandchildren Mitchell Schaller,

Nathan (Kelsey Bredlow) Schaller.  Many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Clayton Hart and Kenny Stork, sisters Christine Hart, Donna Hart, Carol Hart and nephew Michael Hart.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday September 8, 2018 at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral home in Jefferson with the Rev. Thomas Coyle presiding.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.  Burial will follow in the St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.
