Obituary of Richard Earl Voeltz

RICHARD “DICK” E. VOELTZ age 90 of Jefferson passed away on Thursday June 28 peacefully at his home.  He was born on August 11, 1927 in Watertown, Wisconsin, son of the late Laverne and Cecelia (Seeber) Voeltz.  He married Janet Pinke on September 8, 1951 at St. John’s parsonage.  Dick worked for the family business from a young boy, eventually making it into the well-known Voeltz Implement business which has been part of Jefferson for over 70 years.  Dick enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a good friend to all the local farmers.  He will be deeply missed by his wife Janet Voeltz of Jefferson, daughter

Nancy Lee Voeltz-Cutbirth of TX, son Donald (Shari) Voeltz of Jefferson.  Many cousins and other relatives and friends.

To honor his request there will be no funeral services.  Memorials in Dick’s name may be given to Rainbow Hospice or a charity of choice.
