Obituary of Allen Michael Frankiewicz, III

ALLEN M. FRANKIEWICZ III was the third of ten children, born on July 16, 1952 in Fort Atkinson, WI the son of the late Allen Jr. & Frances (Lulich) Frankiewicz of Jefferson.

Passed away Friday June 22, 2018.  Allen was employed at Honk Trucking in Watertown for the past 20 years. His dedication and work ethic were second to none and he made his associates his second family. Prior to that, he worked at the family run People’s Meat Market in Jefferson and Milwaukee. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater.  In his early years, he enjoyed fishing, playing the trumpet, working on cars, boats, snowmobiles or anything with a motor that went fast.  Later in life, he enjoyed gardening and landscaping.  Allen touched many with his kindness, thoughtfulness and wit. He will be deeply missed.  He is survived by his beloved daughter Amber Frankiewicz of Franklin and goddaughter Morgan Sellnow of Watertown, sisters Jane Frankiewicz of Fort Atkinson, Amy (Paul) Stiennon of Madison.  Brothers Joseph (Sherrill) Frankiewicz of Florida, Thomas Frankiewicz of Jefferson.  He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Jerome, James, Lawrence and Robert Frankiewicz, and sister Lorraine Rupnow.

Memorial Mass will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday July 2, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas Coyle presiding.  Visitation will be at the church on Monday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of Mass.

We are comforted in knowing that Allen elected to donate tissue and organs, and was able to help many people. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating the gift of life by checking the box on the back of your driver’s license.
